Courses

4 questions

All classes are live — never pre-recorded. You learn in real time with a native, certified teacher broadcasting live from France. The live format is fundamental to how the French Atelier works: the spontaneity, the conversation, the real cultural context — none of it can be replicated in a recording.

Small Zoom groups of 8–10 learners, for maximum speaking time and personal attention. This intimate scale is one of the defining features of the French Atelier experience. With only 8 to 10 people per class, every student has genuine speaking time — and the teacher can respond to each learner individually.

Classes run Sunday through Friday, with times that match your timezone. The schedule has been designed to accommodate learners across multiple time zones, so wherever you are in the world, you will find a session that fits your week.

20 live lessons of 85 minutes each, plus 2 weekly study groups (included in the annual Best Seller plan). On completion of 20 lessons, you receive a CEFR-aligned A1 or A2 certificate issued by Acadomia, along with $100 in credits. All lessons are recorded and available on demand in your private dashboard, alongside a community forum, cultural resources, and 24/7 support.

Just a laptop and a microphone. No downloads or special software required. Classes take place on Zoom, which you may already have. If not, it is free and takes less than a minute to install. Speaking, listening, and engaging are all you need to bring.
